Ocean insights and EU action  live events

The INSPIRE area will host daily events over two thematic weeks,   from 3 to 13 June with all sessions available to stream live online.

3-8 June

The first week, the public will explore topics such as citizen science, in-situ and satellite ocean monitoring, as well as forecasting models. On June 6–7, the Pavilion will host the International Weather and Climate Forum, which will focus on the role of media in ocean-climate communication and bring together experts and stakeholders to address key challenges. The week will culminate on World Ocean Day with a high-level opening and the 10th anniversary of the Copernicus Marine Service.

9-13 June

The second week will feature morning sessions on key ocean challenges—biodiversity, pollution, sea level rise, ocean climate, and coastal challenges—designed for a public audience, and afternoon sessions highlighting the European Commission’s leadership in global ocean governance, including flagship initiatives like Copernicus, the EU Ocean Mission, and the Ocean Pact.
Register now to stream live ocean-themed sessions from the European Digital Ocean Pavilion and receive real-time updates, agenda alerts, and exclusive content. NB: The complete agenda and the option to bookmark sessions for online streaming will be available shortly.
