The ENGAGE AREA is a vibrant and interactive space in the European Digital Ocean Pavilion, designed to connect the public, decision-makers, researchers, and ocean advocates through engaging and immersive experiences. The goal is to immerse the public in the digital ocean world, foster ocean literacy, empower action, and demonstrate the societal benefits of ocean science.

Through interactive exhibits, storytelling, digital applications, and audiovisual content, the ENGAGE AREA will serve as a bridge between scientific advancements and the general public, offering an accessible and compelling way to understand the ocean's vital role in our daily lives. Visitors will leave with a comprehensive understanding of the ocean’s current state and the ongoing European and global efforts to preserve marine ecosystems.
