Emanuela Clementi is a senior scientist at the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC), where she leads the Regional Ocean Forecasting Systems (ROFS) Division. She serves as the Scientific Leader of the Copernicus Marine Service's Mediterranean Monitoring and Forecasting Centre (Med-MFC), overseeing the development and operation of high-resolution ocean models that deliver real-time forecasts and reanalysis data for the Mediterranean Sea. Her work focuses on advancing coupled wave-current modeling systems and enhancing data assimilation techniques to improve the accuracy of ocean state predictions.
