Weather presenter, climate change specialist
For over 35 years, Patrick de Bellefeuille has been a weather presenter for the Canadian Weather Network. Through all these years, he developed a deep passion for weather phenomena. In order to show Canadian viewers the true power of the atmosphere, he has even ventured into hurricanes a total of seven times. Additionally, he has participated in two research missions on board the research vessel Amundsen in the Arctic, where he studied the effects of climate change in the polar region. Nowadays, he devotes his time to communicating about climate change through his network. Bellefeuille strongly believes that mankind should focus on fighting the biggest problem it has ever faced, with greater speed and urgency.
Patrick de Bellefeuille est présentateur à la chaîne météo canadienne depuis plus de 35 ans. Au fil des ans, il a développé une passion pour les phénomènes atmosphériques. À sept reprises il s’est retrouvé au cœur de cyclones tropicaux. Il a également fait deux expéditions à bord de l’Amundsen, un brise-glace canadien qui étudie l’impact des changements climatiques sur l’Arctique. Homme engagé, il se consacre maintenant à la communication sur le plus grand combat de l’humanité, le dérèglement climatique. Pour lui, il est impossible de concevoir que l’homme, qui se dit l’espèce supérieur, ne saura pas sauver le monde dont il a besoin pour sa survie.
