DCO Lead - Ocean Observing
Terry McConnell serves as the Lead of the Decade Coordination Office for Ocean Observing at UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC). In this role, he oversees initiatives aimed at enhancing global ocean observation systems as part of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. Prior to this, he held various leadership positions at Fugro, focusing on digital strategy and geospatial operations. He holds a B.Sc. in Geophysics from the University of Toronto.
