Thomas Lesage is a French ocean advocate and founder of the NGO Children for the Oceans, established in 2018 when he was just 15. His passion for marine protection was ignited during a four-month educational sailing expedition across the Atlantic, where he conducted awareness sessions in schools at various ports. Through his NGO, Thomas has built a global network of young ocean ambassadors dedicated to educating peers about critical issues like plastic pollution, overfishing, and ocean acidification. As a founding member of the European Youth4Ocean Forum, he continues to amplify youth voices in international marine policy discussions, striving to inspire collective action for a sustainable ocean future.
