Dr. Joanna Post is Head of the Ocean Observations and Services Section at IOC-UNESCO, where she leads the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS). Prior to this, she spent over a decade at the UNFCCC Secretariat, focusing on climate science and ocean action. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
