Joshua Baghdady is an unmanned systems communications engineer and project manager at the Applied Research Laboratory at the University of Hawai‘i (ARL at UH). With a Master’s in electrical engineering from Clemson University, he specializes in underwater wireless communications and has been recognized with awards such as first place at OCEANS 2016 SPC and the 2019 MTS Young Professional award. Joshua has led international teams, participated in NATO maritime experiments, and is passionate about enhancing interoperability among maritime unmanned systems. He also serves as ECOP Section Chairperson, supporting early career ocean professionals' engagement with MTS.
