Lillian Diarra has over a decade of experience in project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement within the environmental sciences sector, with the past four years dedicated to ocean science and data at Mercator Ocean International. In her current role, she coordinates a project that enhances ocean forecasting capabilities and fosters cooperation across Africa, supporting sustainable development under the OceanPrediction Decade Collaborative Centre. She has also contributed to key ocean initiatives including the European Digital Twin Ocean, the Copernicus Marine Service, GEO Blue Planet, and the G7 Future of the Ocean and Seas Initiative. Her academic background is in specialized economic analysis.
