For the past 20 years, her passion for oceanography has been driven by the desire to best support the men and women who interact with the ocean every day and must adapt to its changes and moods. Her team, "Oceanic and Coastal Applications", is dedicated to designing and deploying innovative solutions to monitor the ocean from space, to forecast, inform, and help our societies adapt—whether it’s to the massive influx of Sargassum algae in the Caribbean, rising sea levels, or plastic pollution.
