Stéphane Diérick is the co-founder and Vice President of Sailcoop, France’s first cooperative offering sail-powered passenger transport. With a background in engineering and digital project management, he is deeply committed to ecological transition and sustainable mobility. At Sailcoop, he plays a key role in digital development and strategic planning, helping to pioneer low-carbon maritime travel alternatives. Since its launch, Sailcoop has transported over 11,000 passengers (as of 2024), reducing CO₂ emissions by nearly 90% compared to conventional transport methods. A passionate sailor himself, Stéphane has crossed the Caribbean with his family, further deepening his bond with the ocean and his drive to advance environmentally responsible maritime tourism.
